Angelo Michael Georgetti
August 18, 1938 – June 28, 2025
Angelo Michael Georgetti joined his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 28, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family.
Affectionately known as “Skeets,” Angelo lived out the promise of the American dream — self-reliant, entrepreneurial, and family-focused. His many blessings began with his parents, Helen and Pasquale Georgetti, whose examples of hard work, sacrifice and generosity set a high standard for their firstborn.
Growing up in the shadow of Philadelphia’s Italian Market, young Angelo developed an innate understanding of people and business — instincts that would serve him well throughout his life. In 1960, alongside the love of his life, Rita (née Bua) and sweet baby Maria, he settled in Cinnaminson, New Jersey.
Rita and Angelo remained in their “newlywed home” for the entirety of their 65 years together. In that home, neighbors and acquaintances became friends, and friends became family. All who entered left fully embraced. This spirit lives on in their four children: Maria Lewis, Michael (Diane), Angela DiPaolo (Al), and Frank.
Angelo also shared a lifelong, cherished bond with his sister, Mary Walters — a connection that will continue to endure in memory and spirit.
Though his mind was always full of creative ideas and dreams, Angelo’s heart remained rooted in life’s simple joys. The recollection of watching a grandchild order an ice cream cone, act out a movie scene, sing a song, or build a sandcastle could bring tears to his eyes — moments so meaningful they seemed to live forever in his heart.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories for his grandchildren: Steven Lewis (Ashley), Patrick Lewis, Michala Vasold (Zach), Matthew Georgetti, Juliana Georgetti, Lidia Di Paolo, and Mia Di Paolo, as well as great-grandchildren: Chloë, Molly, Emma, and Oliver Lewis, and Weston Vasold.
Dad, we miss you already.
The Georgettis will honor Angelo’s life in a private, family gathering as he requested — a quiet tribute to a life well lived and deeply loved.
