Cynthia McNeal, age 73, passed away on August 27, 2026, at 6:15 a.m. at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.

Cynthia was born and raised in Philadelphia before eventually making her way to Atlantic City, where she built her life and raised her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, and cherished member of her family.

Cynthia was the proud mother of four sons: Eugene McNeal Jr. (Neptina), Hassan McNeal (Tara) , Wendell McNeal, and Jesus McNeal. She leaves behind a large and loving family, including her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy and gave her countless memories to treasure.

Cynthia spent time working at Bally’s, but when she wasn’t working, she knew how to enjoy life. She loved being outside, spending time with the people she loved, listening to good music, and enjoying a little two-step on the dance floor. She also loved going on cruises and making memories along the way. Cynthia knew how to have a good time and enjoyed living life on her own terms.

More than anything, Cynthia loved her family. She was surrounded by generations of family who will carry her memory, her stories, her laughter, and her love with them for years to come.

Cynthia made her wishes very clear: she did not want a funeral or memorial service. Her family will honor those wishes. Instead, those who loved Cynthia are encouraged to remember her in their own way, share a favorite memory, tell a story, play her favorite song, or simply smile when they think of her.

Though she is no longer with us, Cynthia’s love lives on through her four sons, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, her extended family, and the many lives she touched throughout her 73 years.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever a part of her family.
