John "Jack" Crugnale

August 12, 1941 — January 20, 2026

Southampton, NJ

John “Jack” Crugnale, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the age of 84. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Jack was the son of the late John and Eleanor Crugnale.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Tom, Joseph, and Fred. Jack was the devoted husband of Carol, and together they built a loving family that was always his greatest source of pride.

He was the beloved father of William (Theresa), Michael (Lisa), Robert, Cheryl Coryell, Jacklyn Hadzor (Robert), and Jonathan (Jennifer). He was a proud grandfather to Melissa, Bill (Ashley), Danielle (Marc), Nicholas, Luca, Lorenzo, Leonardo, and Louie, and a loving great-grandfather to Abigail, Genevieve, Cooper, and Maverick.

Jack dedicated his entire professional career to working as an electrical engineer with Lockheed Martin. He was a proud magna cum laude graduate of Drexel University, where he earned his engineering degree.

Outside of work, Jack found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially sports. A lifelong Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, he could always be found cheering, analyzing plays, and occasionally yelling at the TV. Golf was another love, offering both the challenge he enjoyed and the quiet moments he appreciated. Most of all, Jack loved coaching his children and watching his grandchildren play sports, taking pride not just in winning, but in their effort, growth, and time spent together on and off the field.

Jack was a man of few words, known for his quick wit, dry humor, and steady presence. His legacy lives on in the strength of his family and the values he instilled.

Jack will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A private Mass honoring his life will be held at Holy Eucharist Church, followed by a Celebration of Life.
