On July 3, 2026, Suzen Boyle passed away, with her family by her side. Born on November 1, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Suzen spent her childhood in the city before making Washington Township her home. For the past
51 years, Suzen shared a beautiful marriage with her beloved husband, building a life centered on love, laughter, fun, and family. Their love was envied by all, true love and best friends. Together they created a home where everyone felt welcomed. They were longtime members of the Cara Irish Society. Together they enjoyed listening to Irish music, dancing, and celebrating lifelong friendships. They faithfully attended Irish Weekend in Wildwood every year since its very first celebration and made many treasured trips to Ireland, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
She was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Tony (Gail), and her daughter, Suzen (Keith). She sat with Tony many mornings drinking their coffee and chatting. Suzen was her shopping partner at Boscov’s and Kohls. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, Billy, Keith, Robert, and Carleigh, and great-grandson Julian. Each of them held a special place in her heart. She could be found cheering proudly from the stands at Billy's baseball games, rarely missing a game for the past 20 years. She loved hearing Keith's fishing stories, always listening with excitement and a smile. She was incredibly proud of Carleigh for her hard work, determination, and the successful life she built for herself. She admired Robert's strength and resilience as he changed his life for the better. Her great-grandson Julian brought laughter into her life with his fun personality that never failed to brighten her day.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joe and Anna (Tom) ; her siblings, Joey, Jackie, and Nannette. Though their loss was deeply felt throughout her life, there is peace in knowing they have been joyfully reunited.
Suzen dedicated her life to being a homemaker, a role she embraced with pride and endless compassion. She believed there was no greater calling than caring for those she loved. Her home was always filled with warmth, delicious meals, laughter, and open arms. It became the house every child wanted to visit—and never wanted to leave.
Suzen found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved tending to her gardens, filling her yard with colorful flowers that reflected her cheerful spirit and made her home as beautiful on the outside as it was within. Suzen also enjoyed many years of bowling and golfing alongside her best friend, Jeannette, who preceded her in death. It brings happiness to imagine them sharing laughter on the golf course, rolling strikes together, and enjoying each other's company as they always had.
May we remember Suzen not only for the life she lived but for the love she gave so freely. Her flowers will continue to bloom, her laughter will echo in the stories shared by those she loved, and her spirit will live on everyday. She will be forever missed, forever loved, and forever in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future.
