Winrow Henderson was born on April 10th, 1960, in Philadelphia, PA and passed away peacefully on August 11th, 2026. He was a kind soul who always asked for “World Peace”.
In his younger years, he went to school at Lankenau. After high school, he headed to North Carolina A&T for college and then returned to Temple University where he finished with his degree in Architecture.
Win spent just over three decades working at USDA Rural Development where he worked on numerous projects throughout the country before retiring. Prior to USDA, he worked for the US Navy on the structures of ships that sailed across the world.
Win had a love for cars, bowling, baseball, football and NASCAR. His passion for architecture was life long, in 1993, he became one of the founding members of PhilaNOMA. He also took pride in teaching both the high school and confirmation classes at St. Bartholemew’s Episcopal Church for numerous years.
He leaves behind a host of family and friends. His love for community will be greatly missed but forever remembered.
